Guide
SemSync Live does live what SemSync does the morning after on the footage: it hears the music and changes camera at the right moment. Here is what the venue needs, who does what during the night, and what is left in the morning.

The fixed cameras stay installed: booth, room, crowd, wired over SDI to a video switcher. The operators' handheld cameras reach the same switcher over radio. The directing computer with SemSync Live sits on the same network and listens to the desk audio.
Today Live drives OBS; the Blackmagic ATEM switcher and motorised cameras are tested in the lab and waiting for the first venue.
Live hears the drop coming and already has the right camera when it lands; the changes fall on the beat, not whenever. Whoever directs holds the phone: they can take over at any moment, start a replay from the last seconds of any camera, mark a highlight, and they get a warning if a camera goes black or the audio goes silent.
From how you take over, Live learns: the next time the music stops it cuts where you took it.
The switcher records the separate cameras all night. What went on air comes back as an edit, with the desk audio as the reference and the live cuts as the starting point. The venue gets the night report; the DJ gets their clips.
Questions
It depends on the cameras and the room: we quote after a site visit. Leave your email in the LIVE list on the first page and we write to you.
Not to stay up, yes to do well: Live runs on its own and a human with the phone makes it better.
Yes: the switcher's programme streams like any live edit, and Live handles the cuts meanwhile.
