One in front of the decks, one at the back of the room, one on the side. No timecode, no slate: each one just has to record sound too, even bad sound.

The cameras lock from the sound and stay locked to the last track. It writes each camera's drift in seconds and frames.
The cut lands
on the drop.
The edit follows drops, build-ups and energy changes, and the cut lands on the frame of the build-up. The genre changes the pace.

Copying, decompiling, reverse-engineering, redistributing or using it without a licence is forbidden.

What
everyone asks.
How long does it take?
It depends on the computer, the cameras and how long the night runs. On 22 September 2026 a 77-minute set, filmed by three cameras, was synced and edited in 4 minutes 18 seconds, with 1,197 cuts, on a laptop with an Intel Ultra 9 275HX.
The program writes the time itself at the end of the job. On your computer it writes yours.
And if there was no mixer?
The job runs anyway. SemSync takes the camera that filmed the most as the reference and tells you so. If you prefer another one, you pick it. On a night with no mixer, 20 clips out of 20 were locked.
Do I really need Resolve Studio?
No. With Resolve Studio, SemSync builds the project and the timeline inside Resolve. In Premiere Pro there is the panel, from Window and then Extensions. With free Resolve or Final Cut Pro it writes the timeline file and you import it.
Colour stays a Resolve Studio thing. Final Cut, free Resolve and the Premiere panel are still in beta.
Does my footage go anywhere?
No. Everything runs on your computer and your files are never touched: SemSync only reads them. The internet is only needed to link your account.
Doesn't Resolve already do this?
Part of it, yes, and it is fair to say so. Resolve lines up clips that look alike and cuts to whoever is speaking, for free.
SemSync holds six hours of club with the drift corrected, locks even on music that repeats itself and cuts on drops, energy and the shape of the track.
Does it work on Mac?
Yes. Same package and same code. On two Macs it did everything, from the install to the export. For now you install it from the ZIP; the double-click installer comes later.
What does the Creator plan open?
The Creator and Clipmaker doors. The eye on your footage, the reel from the storyboard, the vertical with the subject followed, subtitles and chapters from the voice. Multicam nights stay in the full plan.
