The short version. SemSync runs on your computer. Your footage and your audio never leave it. What travels over the network is your licence, the email you give us, and, only if you switch it on, a handful of numbers about your nights: never a file, never a name.
Who we are
SemSync is made and sold by Riccardo Tirincanti, Via Tagliamento, 47842 San Giovanni in Marignano (RN), Italy, morelz.video@gmail.com (the "seller"). For anything about your data write to /contatta.
What we collect, and why
- Your email and your name, when you buy a licence, ask for a trial code, write to us, or join the waiting list. We use them to send you the licence code, to answer you, and to tell you when sales open. Legal basis: the contract with you, or your request.
- Your licence and your computer fingerprint: an anonymous code computed from your machine, used only to check that one licence is active on one computer at a time. It cannot be turned back into your hardware details.
- Payments are handled by Stripe (and PayPal inside Stripe). We never see your card number: we receive from Stripe only the confirmation of the payment, the plan, and the email you used.
- Support diaries: if you press "send the log to support" in the app, we receive the technical log of that job (file names, timings, errors). Nothing is sent unless you press the button.
- The support door: if you open the door to support in ACCOUNT, for thirty minutes at most your program sends our automatic assistant the program's diagnosis (version, system, license status, format and audio presence of your footage, the job's numbers, errors from the log) and the messages you write. Never your videos. The assistant can only ask the program for actions from a closed list, which you see written one by one; heavy ones run only with your yes. To reason about new cases the assistant uses an Anthropic model, which receives that technical data and your messages. You close the door whenever you want.
- "SemSync learns": if you leave the switch on, at the end of a job the app sends a few numbers (genre, tempo, how many cuts, how long it took, which options you changed). Never the footage, never the audio, never your name: the licence is replaced by a one way fingerprint. You can turn it off in the app at any time.
Where the data lives
The website and the licence service run on Vercel; the database runs on Supabase; emails are sent through Resend; payments through Stripe. Each of them processes data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not sell data and we do not use advertising trackers.
How long we keep it
Licence and purchase records for as long as the licence exists, plus what the tax law requires. Messages to support: until the matter is closed, then at most 24 months. Waiting list emails (the Mac version, LIVE in your venue): until the thing you are waiting for is out and we have written to you, then deleted unless you become a customer. You can ask to leave the list at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your data, and to receive a copy of it, by writing to /contatta. If you think we got something wrong you can also complain to the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

- I pagamenti li gestisce Stripe (e PayPal dentro Stripe).
Mai i tuoi video.
Dove stanno i dati
I tuoi diritti
